I have a 2006 Ferris with FH721V - same problem over last two years. I adjusted valves, they were .011, so put them to .004. Seemed to help some, but not completely. Was able to start it hot twice, but not consistent. Compression shows 79 psi but spark plugs are black (new plugs 2 years ago)...
