Changed the battery, now, when the blade switch is engaged it stops the engine. After checking,electrically, the ignition switch,PTO switch,seat switch,kill relay, both park brake switches,and FlyBack diode, all passed electrically. Another "change" just happened...pull the PTO...

Just bought a TORO Z5030 with a 23 hp twin cyl. Kohler. Runs like a new one. Ain't gonna touch it............yet. "Adjusted" valves on a 23hp VTwin Briggs. Exhaust push,which is steel, came loose...."Shelled" the engine.

Just bought a used Toro 5030 Z turn with a Kohler Courage 23 twin cylinder. Beast will cut down a redwood tree. Having a "learning curve" experience. It will get away if not carefuf

Well, this is my long,sad,sordid tale of woe, probably bring a tear to a pawn broker's eye. Pulled the sump(oil pan) off the engine. What a mess, where # 9 bolt hole is sump is split. Exhaust push rod is in many pieces, several teeth off the camshaft & crankshaft gears, end of the camshaft...
