SIs it losing prime? Have the fuel lines, fuel tank grommet, and primer bulb been replaced? Has the spark arrestor screen been cleaned...

Check motor mount bolts. The shaking and knocking sound is typical at startup and shutdown and in some cases when the deck is engaged... -
