Florence got my old Craftsman so I bought a John Deere.

Craftsman model # 917.273080, serial # 100200A010684-Steering will not turn left but turns right just fine. 22 hp electric start-46" garden tractor. What part or parts do I need? Thanks.

Pulley idler went out on my craftsman 46". I ordered a new one and put it on with a new keeper, belt, idler. My question is how tight should I tighten the nut? If it's too tight the pulley doesn't spin. Mower is a Sears Craftsman 22 hp electric start 46" mower automatic garden tractor...
