    Troubleshoot intermittent start issue?

Thanks for the tips. Loose battery cables were entirely my fault to begin with...they didn't just come loose.

    Troubleshoot intermittent start issue?

Think I resolved the issue. Battery cables had become a bit loose. Snugged them up and no problems since. Id be curious still about the trouble shooting steps should the issue crop up again and it isnt the cables.

    Troubleshoot intermittent start issue?

Any guidance appreciated. I have an intermittent start issue on my lazer z xs. What are the points to troubleshoot? Cables, relay, any particular safety switches?, finally starter itself? Preheating of glow plugs seems fine, fan runs, fuel pump runs. Get a click no start when I go to start...

    Kubota engine parts?

Anyone have a good source for Kubota engine part numbers? My Exmark Lazer Z XS has the Kubota D902 engine in it and it is a pain trying to track down part numbers for the engine. Exmark is no help, they refer you to Kubota Engine distributors for info.

    Wow.

Yup. Municipalities too I suppose. Exmark wouldn't make them and charge that if there wasn't a market.

    Wow.

Yeah! I'm not in the market for one...but I couldn't believe how expensive they are new. Even a commercial user would have to do a lot of mowing to break even at that cost I would think.

    Wow.

So I'm not a commercial user, and I have never shopped for a new Exmark Lazer before ( I have bought a few used ones) but I recently saw an ad for a new Exmark Lazer diesel (yanmar) with the 60 inch mower with a price of $21.5k. Guess that's the going rate and it was cool looking....but wow. I...

Replacement hydraulic oil Exmark Pioneer Suggestions

The reservoir on my lazer must be bigger. Mine doesnt behave that way, and there is never no fluid in it and the level is much higher than 1/2-1 inch. Does your have a fill up line when cold indicator?

Replacement hydraulic oil Exmark Pioneer Suggestions

The reservoir was empty and it usually has fluid? Is there a leak somewhere? Is there a indicator line in your reservoir like the Lazer has? Im not familiar w the pioneer but 1/2 inch sounds pretty empty to me.

Exmark Lazer Z XS diesel spin on element

I thought I would post a quick update. What a difference changing this spin on element out has made in starting the mower! No more hard starts. My model year is 2006, if anyone has one this old and is having an issue w hard starts, changing out this filter should be on your shortlist. Again...

Exmark Lazer Z XS diesel spin on element

Thanks. Exmark indicated it should be changed between 250-400hrs. Funny that there is no reference to doing so in the manuals provided to the consumer. Maybe its referenced in the workshop manual which they wont provide to those of us that like to work on our own stuff.
