For this model the belt rides on the engine shaft not a pulley (unusual?). There was residual oil on the shaft from a previous oil seal replacement causing the belt to continually slip. Once I cleaned the shaft, tranny pulley, and belt the self propelled was back to normal. Just glad is was...
