I haven’t took the pressure side connector off. The picture is only of the quick disconnect, that inserts inside of the pressure connector. I think something was out of spec that caused the peening in picture. I think both parts should be replaced, but I wanted to hear what you experience people...

I’m not sure; there is a lot of parts I can use for the HRC 216. It has the hydrostatic transmission but no auto stop. It might be hard to get $200 for push mower, but the future parts I may or may never need may be worth keeping.

I know it’sa mower forum, but I do believe I can find the best answer from you guys. The hose connector to the pressure unit is leaking and causes low pressure. This is a picture of the hose connector which is obviously peened. I think both connectors should be replace but what is your opinion.

Sorry again, the toyota filter fits my motorcycle. You know that JD isn’t the only source for the same filter, and that engine is used many manufacturers. I bet you can find an oil and air filter for less than $30.

Oops totally missed it lol. I use the same oil filter on my 1988 V6 pickup. My dealership sells them for less than $10. I think I paid $8 for the last one. They’re the same circumference as the JD but a lot taller. So it may require a bit more oil, if you’re anal about fluid levels.
