I had the clicking problem. Turns out there was only 7 volts at the red wire when the clicking occurred. After installing the relay from amazon it never clicked again. Started every time. I found out about this from a different forum.

Get this from amazon. It goes under the selenoid. This is a common problem.

I had the same problem. Solved to buying a $22 part from Amazon. I tried to attatch a screen shot of it but it did not work. I will post this and try again

I cant find the voltage regulator physically or on the electrical schematic had the alternator tested at a place that repairs them. Old man in a old shop im sure he knew what he was doing
