As has been stated before, TobyU is correct. If you have to jump your battery, you may very well be looking at buying a new battery AND a new stator.

I am not 100% sure , but Snapper didn't have anything but polyethylene gas tanks, like well....forever. If your Snapper is an RER, It is worth getting running again.
