How do you like your Ford 8N tractor?

    No fuel pump output

I agree with checking the fuel out of the tank for cracks. I had one on a chainsaw. It ran fine with the tank full, but quit when teh tank was half down. The crack was below the half full line and it sucked air when exposed.

Husqvarna lc121p with B&S 725EXi engine low power.

I didn't see where you replaced the air filter. It could be dirty.. You did say it only bogs down when the air filter is installed.

It was mentioned, but the belt might be too long. Check the size again.

    Honda HRX217VKA Submersed In Flood!

Take out the spark plug before you crank it to prevent a bent connecting rod. maybe it just won't crank so don't force it. Dd drain it completely and add new oil like they said. After you run it a while change oil again to remove any mud, dirt or debris that may have gotten in the crank case.. I...

Has the small engine line of work hit rock bottom?

I remember when I was in college in the late 1960s. My degree was wildlife biology, but I want to take an elective in industrial arts to learn welding n forging. My professor had a hissy cat. I told him no, I want to take welding. Ok, but I won't give you credit for the course. After I became a...

    2026 Z2 50” transmission Issue

storing outside is never a good idea Water contamination from outside storage, even under a tarp, still results in condensation and water issues in the fuel system and other places. A pre-fab storage shed is a good investment for all your yard equipment.

How to build up a repair savings for future repair needs on your mowing and other equipment.

The problem is too many people want the good life too soon. Live thrifty for a while and save some money. I didn't buy a new pickup until I was 32. Don't buy big stuff until you can pay for it. I took out a few car loans early on, but no credit card debt or other loans. Even later in life I...

    Grungy gas tank

All this crude comes from gasoline evaporation, water in the tank, or both. Keep gasoline in the tank and use 10% alcohol auto gas. The alcohol in the gasoline absorbs any water and keep sludge from forming. I have a 35 year-old push mower with a Briggs engine and the tank is still clean and...

    Craftsman push mower engine issue

When I was 22 I had a cracked brass float with gas in it. I decided I could solder the crack if I could get the gasoline out of the float. Holding it up squeezing took too long. Aha! I'll take it out in the driveway and set it on fire. That bugger heated up and threw a 20 foot flame in the air...

    Removing the fuel filter

Does the other end of the line come off?. Cut it off and replace the line unless there is enough slack to cut it off and shorten it a little.

    Leaf Blower?

That's the plan. No, I live on a county road and the leaves and tumble weeds blow across open grasslands. The tumble weeds come from open grasslands and hang up in my trees. I just move them along. I am talking tumble weeds in the hundreds. These things are big, two feet in diameter or more and...

How will the new 15% ethanol gasoline affect our Craftsman mowers and lawn tractors?

I have used 10% ethanol ever since it came out without any problems. Ethanol does absorb water but that keeps water from accumulating in your gas tank. When you buy gas line anti-freeze it is alcohol to absorb the water to prevent the freezing. The alcohol burns with the gas. I would not use...

John Deere LT 150 mower will not start

I know this is not a joke to you, but I can';t help it. Did you spray it with roundup? Roundup kills anything that is green.
