Everything is pointing at the choke plate not fully closing. Check your adjustments and be certain the plate is fully closing.

I will have to check but I am fairly sure mine isn't starting from cold or hot without your little add fuel trick

Yes I have and it runs good, only issue is getting it started

Thanks to SeniorCitizen I have gotten it a bit closer to running, I can now start it by putting a bit of fuel straight into the carb but...
