Honda HR216 mower recoil start sticker "Easy Start GCV-160" sticker

Thanks again. I tried it, but there does not seem to be a selection for "lowest price with shipping" like you can do on eBay. Most of the advertised items are the same dealers as I found yesterday, all get about the same. The Defender one started spamming me yesterday. They are in Canada and...

Honda HR216 mower recoil start sticker "Easy Start GCV-160" sticker

Thank you for the p/n. Did a search, looked at lots of results. The decal is cheap (from $1.21 to 5.98, usually around $3.00) but the shipping is what kills you--everyone seems to get $12.99 or more. They could stick it in a First Class envelope and ship for 70-something cents with a stamp, but...

Honda HR216 mower recoil start sticker "Easy Start GCV-160" sticker

Also says "High Performance" and "Over Head Cam". (pic below) Just moved a couple states away and the movers roughed up the sticker on the recoils starter on my almost-pristine mower. They also transported it on its side, so filled my carb/airbox/combustion chamber with oil. All right, could...

    Lawn Boy M-Series cases--$25 OBO

They are on eBay for NO RESERVE. Bidding starts at $1. Been up for almost a week, not a single bid. Guess they're going in the recycle bin...

    Lawn Boy M-Series cases--$25 OBO

I bought a set of crank cases on eBay, without doing my homework--my bad. What I thought would be a set of cases for a DuraForce ended up being a set of M-Series cases for a 5HP Commercial mower. P/N for the top half is 614493, also has D2 and date of 91 with a clock which might indicate...

How Do You Guys Override The Deadman "Switch"?

Same here--one zip tie fastened loosely enough that I can slide it up to hold the bail in place (hands-free) or slide it down and let the music stop. Works for all of my (four) DuraForce Lawn Boys (my old ones did not have that foolishness and I still have all my fingers and toes a week shy of...

Runs strong, looks great. Carb, fuel tank and primer cleaned, new float valve needle and seat installed, pilot jet upgraded to B&S 108308 spec, air filter cleaned and oiled, blade freshly sharpened, drive belt inspected/checks good. Non-ethanol fuel and AMSOIL Dominator oil mixed at 40:1. Starts...

    Honda HRR216 K3 controls

Okay, I cleaned the original carb and installed it--no change. It's not the carb, it's something the prior owner did with the linkage. Since I never saw it in its original config, I have no idea what is mis-rigged. Anyone have a handy YouTube vid or anything that can give me a starting point...

Lawnboy gold pro series 6.5 Dura Force engine

Gold Series are not as common as Silver Series, but I am pretty sure both are Duraforce engines, which should all use the same parts. Check eBay and search for Duraforce or Silver Series. Just buy the top part below the shroud, includes the starter.

    Honda HRR216 K3 controls

Okay, I have had 3-4 HRR216s, one keeper, several fix-and-sell. The latest is an older K3 model with BBC and throttle control (all my priors have been single speed, Auto Choke, etc.) So this one is being a bit more problematic. Prior owner changed out the carb, no idea what else he monkeyed...

    Lawn Boy mowers

I've been a lurker for years, reading a bunch of threads. Joined a while ago, but only a post or two. Today, that changes :) Bought my first Lawn Boy in 2000, when I was living in IL. It was a local garage sale find, a sand-tan 7256 made in Galesburg, IL. It had been sitting for many years. I...
