OK. I removed the battery and spray lubed every pivot that I could see. I could not reach any plunger and I clean the deck after every mow. No sticks or rocks jammed anywhere that I can see. After reinstalling the battery nothing has changed. I went to JD dealership where I bought the machine...

OK. I was out there looking for a fuse panel, and if there is one, I need help finding it. I been restoring My 1974 Norton and I'm am so done with electrical problems. Thanks for the help.

Thank you for your reply. I did what you said and the deck still did not respond. Of course, the blades will engage with the engine running, but the deck height lever does not work. At least I'm still able to mow. Is is possible that the PTO switch is integrated with the deck lift ?
