    Ignition Coil

It doesn’t have a distributor, I have installed electronic ignition coil conversion on smaller engines. This is a 10hp Koehler, but I’m not really sure where I would convert it.

    Ignition Coil

Got an old Cub Cadet, 1975 1000 Series Cub Cadet. it’s got a Koehler K series 241 on it. Is there anyway to delete the ignition coil (car coil), ditch the points and get an electronic ignition coil on it. I really don’t want to deal with points and all of the wiring. Thanks!

I’m getting to working on it, it looks like a bad ignition coil. Is their anyway to convert one like this. I’ve converted others, but this is a coil I’ve never seen before. It’s a model 14 ignition coil, number 290880. Let me know, thanks!

    Engine Identification

Yeah it is a 5 digit number, the cover has a little bit of info that I can read, it’s tough to make everything out though. Thanks, I was thinking early 50s motor.

Thanks for the manual, it’s very helpful. How old do you think this thing is, I need to replace the coil and do some ignition stuff, but I may use it as a generator motor. Thanks!

    Engine Identification

Hello, brand new to the forum. Had a couple of city dump funds last week. One was a 1962 Hahn eclipse push mower that hadn’t ran in 30+ years, and the other one a Briggs engine that I can’t find anything on. Any info would be amazing. Model: 14 Type: 202010 Serial Number: 82750 Thanks!
