I understand commercial mowers are built to run a lot of hours day after day. For instance if you take a pro turn 148 which is considered a commercial mower and run it 50 hours a year how many years would you expect it to last. Well I plan on living here until I ain’t cutting grass anymore. At some point doesn’t time start to matter as much or more as hours used on a mower as far as breakdowns. If used 50 hours a year would the mower costing 3k more really last any longer.

For you guys that are running these engines what kind of hours are you getting on them or expect to get out of them. I am trying to decide if the Fx is worth the 3k it costs to get a mower with the Fx over the Fr for homeowner with 2-3 acres.
