HI I found the numbers on the engine : model 281707, type 0137 01, code 89022331

I forgot to mention that I found a number on the rear axle, it is 717 761. Does that help?

Yes I have looked under the seat but ...nothing

I have this MTD lawn mower, it is a transmatic. The ID plate is gone and I have no idee what type and year it is. I need a set of belts for it but do not know the right numbers. Who can help me :unsure: regards Lister
