I have a Z254F too, and I had exactly this problem around the 15-20 hours. No tensioner visible, just this spring and this eyelet screw as you say. I changed the belt and it felt better, so she was clearly relaxed. Frankly, it's weird that there isn't a more reliable voltage system…
