I have a john deere lx 188 having rearend problems when going up hill the rear end quits pulling you can let off the pedal a little and it will finally pull on up the hill so I found used one and changed them out same problem as the original can any one shed some light on what my problem is...

I have a cub cadet with kohler engine it was running but now all it does is backfire through carburetor only thing I done was put oil seals in front and back did not take the motor apart so the time shouldn't be an issue I also put new plugs in did not help it can someone help me with this...
