I will double check that and its a good point...I am pretty sure if the parking brake in not on when I get out of the seat and attempt to spread open the hydo controls it kills the motor..I for sure will investigate this as it was just a quick test to see if the clutch functioned and it cut. J

Thanks for the replies, this has helped. I took my volt meter and trusty old school pen tip test light and verified power at the pigtail off the switch when the PTO is pulled. I also verified the clutch works by simply applying 12v and Ground to the clutch and I hear it pop in/out as I add power...

Bought a used 2007 for a decent deal, runs well, it's in decent shape, the issue Im having is that the deck PTO wires that run from the bottom of the switch and to the PTO clutch got ripped apart when the drive belt broke from the previous owner. There is a "flat" (2) wire pigtail about 6" off...
