Forgive the lack of detailed info, but its and old B and S 4hp on top of a Merry tiller rotorvator. If I suck a load of fuel in with a hand over the carb, or with choke closed, or simply by pouring fuel straight into the carb, it'll run fine. Then a minute later it'll stop dead. The fuel lines...
