What’s the difference between 20w-50 hydrostatic transmission oil and full synthetic 20w-50 motor oil for use in a hydro-gear transmission? Triax, Stens and some others have a hydrostatic oil. Is it the basically the same stuff as motor oil? Thanks

I failed in my question to ask about the difference in the flow rate going from 28 down to 21. I was thinking there might be some oil starvation due to a slower flow rate? I’m getting close to the end of the warranty is why I was thinking I might use a different filter. Thanks
