Update: my Toro ran great today. The PTO mower deck works fine. I think the cleaning and sanding the battery contacts did it.

Thank you all very much for your inputs. I removed the battery, cleaned and sanded all terminal cables and washers. Since I have a brand new PTO switch sitting in the tool box, I replaced that too. I also removed the PTO clutch connector, cleaned snapped it back in. The engine started with the...

Thank you Ilengine. I’ll look into the battery charging system. But why I got 12.7 volts when I ran the volt meter across the battery terminals.

I was mowing, everything worked great. Suddenly the PTO mower disengaged, quit cutting grass. So I rode the mower back to the driveway, which is about 50 yards from where the mower deck quit. I checked to see if something out of order. I tried to restart the Toro, only clicks at the starter...
