    Duraforce carbs

A fuel shut off cured the excess smoking on 3 of mine. Seems the fuel drains out and collects in the muffler U pipe and takes awhile to burn out. No ideas on the carb bolts.

    Craftsman mini cultivator model 536.292510

Make sure the gasket between the carb and intake block is lined up properly for the pulse port from the crankcase. Use only non ethanol fuel mix or Trufuel 40-1 on these little engines. And using starting fluid in a 2 cycle engine is inviting disaster. It washes the oil out of the engine or...

2 Stroke Oil recommendation for 10525 6.5 hp Gold Series

I've used Amsoil Saber in my LawnBoy mowers since the late 1970's. Never a problem, just use E-free gas, and use Saber at 4 oz. per 1 gallon of mix.

Does anyone else have a two-stroke Lawn Boy?

My 1969 and 1977 LawnBoy mowers. I also am using a DuraForce 10323 now too. I've been following/pushing LawnBoys since 1965!

    Lawn Boy 10301 Throttling/Carb Issues

Mine ran just like that until I removed the carb, cleaned the jets, both pilot and main jet, and reassembled it properly. There was a lot of water in the float bowl on mine, but yours should be clear of that if you had it apart already. The biggest thing to watch is to make sure the “pin” on...

10323 Dura Force surging issue cured

I've been putting up with the surging and erratic running of this mower for quite some time. I ordered, but have not yet received, the larger pilot jet and different throttle plate to help cure the lean condition these motors were blessed with. While mowing on a steep bank I noticed the motor...

    7266 runs too rich

I have a really nice 7266 from 1977 that runs great except when used on a downhill bank. The motor gets so full of fuel it almost dies. It has a new float and spring assembly in the carb, and the "altitude compensation screw" has no effect on it. If it had a fuel level adjustment, I think...

    Newbie on site

Hi to everyone; New to the site but have been walking behind LawnBoy mowers since 1964 when my Grandpa bought a new "bricktop". I still have it, but haven't used it in 10 years although running when stored. Currently, I am using a 1969 or 1977 version. They start on the second pull. I'll get...
