Hello Somebody out there knows something about this saw Help

I found it at a dump site. No bar/Chain and trigger lock is missing. So where is the S.N. located? I found no tags other than EPA and Saw shop decal. Would like to know what year of manufacture. I have no way for a photo/ What size bar/chain 45 CC Air Induction Thanks

So what should I check out. The belt has some wear but it works just fine in the higher settings . I guess I need to know why the deck doesn,t raise straight up rather than moving up and to the rear?

okay I just got in from garage. High was at 1 1/2 and the low was at 4 1/2. Is that a good reason for poor performance. It only ran when throttle was at wide open.; I will try to start today. Thank you

Now that's a lot of good info. That popping you mentioned, It has done that on shutdown for the last couple years. Also, the tractor only has 150 hours total and I'm the second owner. So I think I will try to examine it a little closer and hopefully its only the solenoid that is the issue...

I think I found the culprit. I removed barand chain again. The studs are pulling thru the case causing the bR TO NOT LINE UP CORRECTLY. The engine runs so good should I try to find a replacement case? Where do you suggest I buy one?
