I have an old scag stz-20kh. The right drive motor works great when you push the control forward but barely responds when pulled to go in reverse. It works fine when both handles are pushed or pulled at the same time. Do you think it's the drive motor or could it be something else? Thanks.

The model # is STZ-20KH it has a 61" deck and Kohler 20 Magnum. I'm thinking it's a 1993 but I'm not sure. It has 2770 hours on it and runs like a top. The deck is solid as ever. A few parts of the deck linkage are really warn but I plan on replacing them this winter. Anyone know what year...
