How much can I safely pull...

Thats one of the disadvantages of a zero turn that you learn about after buying.Sure they mow good, but the transaxle is actually very fragile pulling loads vs.a garden tractor.I would reconmend you figure out a different solution. Its a smart question to ask here,as their is a lot of...

Big Whoops! I added chain saw oil instead of 2-stroke to make up my gallon of 50:1 mix!

Its only a gallon, you caught your mistake which is a good thing.Pour a quart or so every time you fill up your vehicle,no worries

    Old gas

You should be aware that old gas is one of the first problems that happens to an engine. Its also one of the easiest to remedy, every couple of months pour it in your fairly full vehicle.Use only ethanol free gas and it will go a whole lot smoother

    T 2290

I'm on my 3rd summer.Im really happy with my purchase.I have read here about belt and pulley issues.I have had none,I took off the belt guards, safety in the seat won't let you be in danger.Keeps crap out, hubs run cooler.I check mine with digital temp gun, they run about 110°on a 75°degree day...

    T2290 Noise

I too have a 2290,you didn't by chance ever check the hubs with a temperature gun?I'm thinking one hub hotter, more apt to be compromised?School me please!I'm only at 45 hours, mine run 110° at about 80 degrees

Does anyone recommend a Kubota T2290

I'm the original OP,I did buy the T-2290.I can't use in my situation a zero turn as I pull a leaf sweeper and a aluminum utility trailer. The tractor has been awesome, no issues, mows great, easy steering.I check my spindle hub temps with a Napa temp gun, they run 110°,I like that ,and just try to...

What's wrong with my Honda Lawnmower? Almost pulled my arm off! Repair? New mower?

If the blade spins when you pull the rope, thats not correct. The clutch mechanism is faulty, most likely stuck. As you are aware, its a two step, two button ,to get the blades to engage.Thats what you were describing with hard pull, you were trying to start the motor with all the blade drive systems...

    FR691V with 120 hrs

Always run an air cooled engine full throttle. Its designed to pull maximum air ,your really doing more harm by less throttle. Its also a good idea to keep the clippings off and around the engine and transaxle.

Vent plug damage, can't remove, help!

And most problems result of over tightening or bad tools used.I'm a fan of never seize, brass plugs, good tools including short ratchets, and having extra plugs,if it comes out difficult, inspect your tooling, and replace it and the plugs.Heat sets the fittings for possible problems next time.Good...
