the rod moves freely and it connected by the spring to the valve lever. The valve lever moves freely but I do not know if it moves far enough. even when I try to push it forward the bypass remains open.

Thanks Mark! The manual lists symptoms of low ground speed, creeping, and growling, but states nothing about a bypass that stays open with no movement in forward or reverse. What am I missing?

My Cub put itself in bypass and I cannot move forward or reverse. I tried shifting the bypass lever by hand and it moves freely, but does not seem to move far enough. Is there intended to be a detent? It does not click into position, just sort of floats. For background, the tractor can be...
