I have been battling this thing for a long time. It has an intermittent miss especially when I hit bumps, The motor and clutch are brand new. I think it has to be in the wiring. Where would be the best place to start? Thanks

I had a very similar issue. I did everything you did plus traced wires. One night I happened to see the governor spring was not attached towards the front of the motor. It is very thin and broke the end off. I ordered a new one and mowed 4 acres with no issues.

Can you post a pic of the drive assembly with the shield covers removed? I have a 720K grasshopper its a 94 model. I replaced the hydro belts and took the coupling connector off and want to make sure I have it back together correctly. I looked at the exploded view in my manual but for some...
