I had it full throttle when I turned the blades on. Ill do some more investigating and report back.

The Kohler motor blew up so I swapped it with a briggs intek 23hp motor. Just got the kinks worked out and drove it around for the first time today. First time for hearing the motor run and first time driving the mower. The only problem im having is it boggs waaaay down when I engage the blades...

So what im hearing is there is no hope?

Well, no model number there either. any other ideas? there has to be a way to get parts for this thing.

Thanks for the response! I sprayed some aircraft remover next to the drain plug, the paint was thick there. seems like a dumb place to put it. Ill keep you updated. geez, i just need a conn rod and some rings for this thing.
