2012 Craftsman 42" lawn tractor with hydrostatic drive, 24 HP, V-twin engine, cruise control, mow in reverse and a few custom features-side mirrors, rear lights,chrome exhaust outlets(just for looks)

Does anyone know how to install a conventional tach on a B&S 24 HP V twin engine? That is how to wire it up.

Does anyone have the chrome brush bar mounted on their tractor. If so, can you do me a favor and give me the outside diameter of the tubing. Are all the tubes the same diameter? Craftsman model 917.28856. My drive belt slaps the brake pedal linkage and makes a terrible racket. The mower is still under warrenty and I had the tech replace the belt that came on the mower with a new one, at first the sound was gone but when I cut the grass the first time with this new belt...

I have a new Craftsman 42" , YT4000. Overall it's a great mower but my only complaint is the blade height adjustment, not fine enough. The new John Deeres can adjust by 1/4" increments. Anybody have any ideas on how to get smaller increments on this model. And don't say buy a JD.:confused2:
