    Thanks for all the info, now my decision is do I try and rebuild my engine or buy the Woods engine. I'm leaning more towards buying than rebuilding.

    Yes it says that but at the end of listing where it says FITS THESE MODELS Woods 5180,5181,5182 & Grass Hopper 1820,1825,1850 The 1822 isn't. That's my concern. I emailed the company but haven't heard back from them.

    Well he did pull the spark plugs while I was there and one cylinder didn't have compression, so I know something is broke inside engine.
