Here is the solution read this thread it is long there are many options and best on is the brass oilite bushing retrofit. You still have to tear it apart every year or two to lube it. I finally gave up and bought an HRN since I knew Honda will not be saleing gas mowers anymore. Here is the link... -

Seems this thread is dead but I'm checking back. Hope all is well with you guys. There are no HRN's where I live. Mine is doing great. I did do an upgrade The tires are plastic and do not have grip so I bought a mountain bike tire cut it to length around the tire, used 3m black weatherstrip...
