Replace wheel bearings for Honda HR214,HR216,HR216 (all alluminum deck ) 8" wheel

Hello Sir: I too need to replace the old wheel bearings in the from wheels of my Honda HRC215SX. I was wondering how you removed the old bearings out of the hub of the front wheel? Also, if you remember where did you buy the sealed bearings for the front wheels of your Honda lawn mower?

Honda HRC216K3 Engine cylinder head question

Hello All: I have a Honda HRC216K3 Engine cylinder head that has developed unleaded fuel residue both on the intake valve and the valve chamber. My question is how to remove the unleaded fuel residue. Any tips are appreciated and suggestions. I have attached a few pictures to this post.

    Honda GXV120 rebuild

You had have two of what? Anyway, if you need to replace the exhaust valve guide they are available. However, in my experience with old GXV120's, the intake valve to intake guide clearance is usually in service specifications and doesn't need replacing. Now the exhaust valve to exhaust guide...

    Honda GXV120 rebuild

Hello Steve: It really depends on the lawn mower model and/or the VIN number on the engine itself. For example the GXV120 I rebuilt some 3 years ago was attached to a HR214SX. From what I found on (boats dot net), only the exhaust valve guide is available. Valve seals were never a original part...

Never-Mind. I used my Vice and hammered the sleeve on with a 3/8 drive, 10mm 6-point long socket. Second picture shows the results.

    Roto-Stop cable question

Hello All, I recently bought a new Roto-Stop cable for my HR214 and now I have a question about attaching the lower part of the cable to the cable bracket (beneath the engine). It seems that this lower portion is attached via a compression sleeve and I just need some suggestions on how this...

mahaffeymj: You can't go wrong with the NSK bearings. The only problem is you will need to stop at the 3.0 mm point because those bearing are not the "flange" type.

    Walk behind Restoration HR215 SXA

I either used a Large socket or cups from a ball joint press kit and a very large vise. By the way I found these sealed bearings that could work in the rear adjuster bracket. I already pressed out one bearing per the rear adjuster. I am going to pressed out the other bearing per the rear...

Replace engine or entire mower - Honda HR215?

A HR215 with a GCV160? If this is true, then that is not the original engine. The original engine for that series of Honda lawn mower is a GXV140. Is the HR215 a HX, SX or PX version? This quote "Honda GCV 160 just broke/seized after a loud noise" most likely the piston rod end cap broke and...

Honda HRR216K10VKAA (Serial# MZCG - 1431747) drive belt replacement procedure

Rivets: Man, I did it the hard way. Realizing that the pulley is in two parts, this technique you mentioned is the correct way and pretty much the only and logical way to do it. Thank you for setting my mind right, Sir. :)

Help finding the correct Crankshaft for my Honda HRX2174VLA

I really don't understand what is all the fuss about design comments? The GCV series engine is very reliable for what it is designed for (Domestic use). Even if a person has moderate skills, maintenance can be performed easily and major repairs can be tackled. The GCV series wasn't designed for...
