I am considering replacing my Kohler Command with a. Kohler 7000 engine. A anyone got any experience with the 7000 ?

My kohler CV 730 command 25 hp. Will foul the right spark plug. The engine has 630 hours and uses about a pint og oil every 3 hrs. I checked the compression and both cylinders read 140 psi. Their is no evidence of an oil leak. Questions--why is the spark plug fouling? And is 140 psi compression...
