Just looked up your engine number under Kohler and they show this fuel pump. So something is wrong. Where are you getting your engine numbers from? Did someone replace the engine at some point?

Here is the wiring diagram and it looks like just the two wires need to be connected to each other.

There is a 10 amp fuse as well. This is something else. Can't find anything the shows the 10 amp fuse. Looked in all the manuals on the site.

Looks like two fuses 20 and 7.5 Loads of safety stuff according to wire diagram. Any one of those could have failed. Could mean another trip to dealer. Brian

Page 27 of this manual has starting procedure. Go to link above and download your manual if you don't already have one. That's the best I can do as I don't have one of these and never looked over one. Safety is a big deal with all new mowers and unless the starting procedure is followed...

Better luck today. Just found an owners manual for a GX340, same engine, with idle rpm 1,400 and pilot screw setting of 2 1/4 - 2 1/2 turns out. Hope this helps someone else. Brian EM5000iS Owners Manual and GX340 Owners Manual .
