    toro 4220 42" cut V-twin As I was saying if I stop for more then ! min it kill the grass under the motor from the heat. I call Toro there told me that it doesn't kill the grass just turn's it brown.

    Toro SS4260 timecutter burning grass!

    I have a 2020 new 4220 toro that does the same thing and it has a heat shield on it. It's parked and my old 4200 is back on the job.

    The heat shield IS the deflector If I add a elbow to kick it to the side will it void my warranty ? Can't hurt to try mower is no good to me as is. Thank's

    just brought a Toro 4220 picked up stick,s on my one acre then cut . Next day I had 50 place,s 12"X 18" that my grass had turned brown. MY brand new Toro burnt my grass and killed it. Called Toro and told them what happen, there reply was " it does'nt kill the grass just turns it brown". Next...
