Which Kawasaki oil would you recommend to lessen usage ? I’m using 10/30 but going to 10/40 next change.

Is it normal for this engine to use some oil between changes.

FX801V DS25. Does anyone know the actual capacity of this engine. I’ve heard different capacities. It has the original dipstick, not the updated version. I’ve been told 2.0, 2.1, and, 2.4. Sorry if I duplicated post.

0736 or 0734 for FX801V ? I’ve got the 0736 on mine now and was told I had the wrong one. My grandson has theFR691V and according to Cub the FR691V uses the 0736 and mine uses the 0734. Just wondering if it made a difference.

Does it matter if the split flex line is below the oil drain hose ? I read somewhere it should be above it.

Gonna replace the KAW-92055-0892 o-ring. Do I need to put Teflon tape on the threads ahead of the o-ring ? Don’t won’t it to seep or leak,

Mower only have 28 hrs on it. Wonder when the KAW-670d2016 was superseded ? Mine is a 2023 model.

I’m wondering if that’s where my leak is. I tightened it and wondering about if there might be a o-ring issue. I can’t see anything else that might cause it. I already knew about the part you mentioned. Does that mean I need a new o-ring ?
