Should I close in carburetor the remote primer inlet which is not in use but still open?

B&S 450 (carburetor 285286) starts but dies after a while. I changed the gasoline to fresh, changed the spark plug and the air filter. I cleaned the carburetor. Everything is the same. If you spray carburetor cleaner into the air intake, it works fine, but without it, it dies after a while. What...

There are 2 inlets. One thicker is for fuel but there ais anothes thinner one also. What for is that? Carburetor is 285286. In photo is in white. Thanks in advance.
