I tested a 72" diesel 4wd with 4 wheel steering.
The machine felt too big and bulky. I mow alot of hills so I took it there. It did everything I tried. But just wasn't too impressed.
If you can get it for a good price I'm sure you'd like it. And do everything you ask of it. Don't remember if quick connect attachments were standard,but they are nice.
What model/size you lookin at?

If you are mowing 40 hours a week of hard use, you don't want anything Cub Cadet.

It's a big commercial machine so it's gonna do everything you said above. My bet is it'll still go in the upper teens. Bring yr wallet. :-)

I think a full blown commercial machine is what I would shoot for if you plan on using it 40 hours a week. I really like my Deere x749 aws 4x4 on slopes it does a great job in that situation. But I don't use it as much as you are referencing.

You should really consider a new machine for that much use, sounds as if this would be your livelyhood.

Robert the Zforce S you were looking at is the low end residential unit, much like the RZT unit sold at the BBS. If you went to the dealer you would find them stocking the High end residential units and they would have the ZT-2800 drives and the commercial units run the ZT-3100 drives, all Z-Force S. As I said it depends on what unit you buy, you get what you pay for.

If your thinking a ZTR I personally I think you are dreaming. If you want something that is affordable to buy and economical to use or run that will do what you want I would suggest you start looking at some commercial wide area walk behinds. They can be purchased for between 2 and 5k new depending on the size of deck and choice of gear driven or hydro drives.
I personally run the Cub Cadet G-1336 and I haven't found anything that it will not cut. I do foreclosed homes on occasion with 2ft tall grass and that have pond areas with slopes in the back and it's no problem.
I just don't believe you'll ever find a ZTR that will do what you want to do. As far as Robert putting a link, I have no comment. :laughing:
 
Thanks Ric for your input did not think about a walk behind. I believe you are right a walk behind might just be the best way to go. Every one talks about how a ZTR is the way to go and I have not found one to fit my needs for under 10k
