Dang. I could see the timecutter going out. But I'm surprised that the 6000 is already on its 2nd motor.
After the second Kawasaki I went with a kohler pro 20hp. Lots more power then the Kawasaki 22hp on the timecutter.

The 6000 started burning oil at 100 hours.
I like the mower all but the turbo force deck. Does good if grass is short and dry. Sux if grass is over a foot.
The drive set up is awesome no hoses to worry about.

I have a few older ones and love them.
The new ones are junk.

our neighbor has a 2013 Toro with 190 hours and it's on it seconded clutch and he just uses it for his 1/2 acre yard he has done a lot of work to it already and it is pretty new

I've got a Toro Z Master purchased at the end of 2014 and put 330 hrs on it this season and it runs perfect, never had any problems. I also have run the Toro Grandstand for three years and have just over 700 hrs on it and have never had any issues. Both run Kawasaki Engines and they have been great. The nice part is that I still have two years or 500 hrs warranty left on the grandstand.

This is a normal yard that I use the timecutter on.

Carscw- I run Scag mowers but I had Dixie Choppers up until late last year and I will say without reserve or bias that they absolutely loved bush hog height grass. I don't know the science behind why but what we have to bush hog now we would have cut with the dixies

You are saying that the Dixie Choppers will cut tall/stemmed grass better than the Scags itch the Velocity decks?

I have never run a Dixie Chopper but the Scags are good mowers.
