Got my hands on a used, 42" Ariens as per this thread - https://www.lawnmowerforum.com/threads/ariens-42”-hydrostatic-tractor.71217/

I got majority of the issues sorted and freewheel works perfectly. However I noticed the ground speed whole the motion leveler in forward just seems slow. After further looking at the manual there is additional adjustments to be made but I am a bit unclear on the below portion.

I'm hoping some others have done this similar adjustment and know a bit more specifically what needs to be done?

1) I assume the Lift Attachment refers, to the mower deck to be lowered?

2) While lining up the shift plate (which I've located) I am not sure in what position is the leveler supposed to be held in? Am I to hold it in forward, line up the shift plate and extruded arm, then loosen the adjustment nut and turn it set level back to Neutral?
