I'm not sure But I think there the same thing?? I believe they use the gator blades come on the Turf-Master mower. Now I'm not trying to jack your thread but you need to be warned to check your blade belt frequently on that mower. It's a timing belt.
I snapped a blade in half about three weeks ago on my Turf-master and people here on the forum and at the dealer said it was just a bad blade so I replaced the blades and went back to mowing, well as it turned out that wasn't the only thing that was bad. The blade / timing belt jumped timing throwing the blades out of time and together busting one blade in half and destroying the other along with busting up one spindle so just a warning if you replace any belt on that mower, replace them all at the same time and hope it save you a lot of trouble.

I had a cub with the timed blades sold it after the second time. Never broke a blade but bend them pretty good.
Sorry did not think of that when you asked about why your blade broke.

Good info I think when I buy my timemaster I will buy spare belts at the same time so I will always have them on hand and I am going to buy gator blades for mine because I'm going to mainly mulxb and I can keep the own blades as back up.

I never thought about it either and I'm thinking about the same thing just selling it for enough money to buy the 21" commercial. Right at the moment the mower is under warranty so it shouldn't be a problem but later if that should happen it could cost.

Well Today I received a recall notice from Toro. Seems like the the mower spindle on the left side has a washer that can deform and allow the spindle to loosen. If the spindle loosens the blade on the left side may fracture due to excess vibration. So I guess my broken blade and spindle situation gets covered under Warranty biggrin.gif cross my fingers.

Cool that keeps some money in your pocket.

I wonder what they are doing to correct it so it does not happen again.

My luck it would have broke in July

I don't know what there doing to correct it. I have to take this letter to the shop tomorrow and maybe I can find out some more info. They will probably have to get the parts from Toro so it will take some more time. I wonder if the Exmark guys got letters for there 30" mower seeing how there made by Toro.
