Finally found a data sheet on this 409AL stainless steel. There is also a 439AL version. Basically it is just a Type 1 hot dip aluminum coating provides extended life and additional resistance to automotive muffler condensation and road salt.

If that is it, it works great for GM vehicles.. I had over 237 K, + miles & still OE exhaust..
