I thought I'd follow up on this to say I have it running really well. I replaced the carburetor with a decent knock-off a Huztel (funny name) ($16). The gas tank was tougher. I tried 3 or 4 different grommets all them leaked to one degree or another, so, I simply bought a knock-off tank ($15), which had a preinstalled grommet and now everything is working.
Next job is putting on an Echo Speed Feed 400, I have it ready to go, but Echo put the stop hole in a part that needs to be removed on the SRM-225. Which means I can put it on, but it will be a chore getting it off. I need to figure something out.
