Ric 17000 = residential and higher = commercial?

I ordered some G5s. Should be here this week.
I coulda ordered from the web but like to support
my local indie mower shop when I can.
Besides tax only .60 cents difference in price.

I have been to your website and can not find a part number for the G6.

Only 59-085 [G5]. What would be the part # for G6?
Thanks again sir.

Sorry, I should have looked a little deeper before I answered. Even though you have the HP the concern is the spindle on your mower. We do only offer the G5 for that one. Again because of the type spindle you have there are no plans to add the G6? The only difference in the two is the thickness of the steel, performance will be equal. The thicker steel gives you a little longer life.

1st: I can find several G5 blade widths from 2.25" to 3"
2nd: The G6 only comes in 3".
3rd: The 2014 Gravely Pro-Turn™ 100 XDZ Series 152 - 23HP, 52", 3400 Hydro With durable cast iron housings, can take a G6 blade.
4th: We share the durable cast iron housing and spindle diameter.

So I looked at the specs for the 3400 Hydro: Spindle: 1,125. or 1" 1/8th .
Cast iron housing. Tapered 5-bolt flange. 1" 1/8 spindle.
I gotta find out why.

They are cast iron. Maybe the spindle has to be a certain diameter.
I ordered the right ones." <------[Meaning "right mower blades"]

Our engineers base the decision on many characteristics of the spindles. It isn't that you don't have good spindles but they didn't meet the criteria we require to offer a G6 blade.

I know right.
Several sources told me I could get the thicker G6.
I could never find a number.
Now we know exactly what we can use from Oregonï® and why..
Thanks for your help ric.
