I carry all my equipment whether I'm alone or not also, because I never know what I'll end up doing and what I'll need. If anything bugs me about people and equipment it's those who show up to do a job and don't have the proper equipment to do that job and that others end up having to cleaning up after them.

Yes, I don't carry everything I own but I carry everything I need/will need. 2 mowers 1 weedeater1 edger 2 blowers 1 hedge trimmer lots of hand tools.

I do have a distinct advantage being I'm never more than 10 mins from my house not that I've ever needed to come home forvanything

Well I have that advantage also. I have a trailer odometer on the truck and since I got the truck the 30th of Sept I've pulled the trailer a total of 46 miles so far, Oct.30th I'll have the monthly total. I still take all my equipment with me. The only piece of equipment I leave at home would be the Echo BRD and I only use it when a client request it.

Now I'm not trying to be argumentative here but it kinda looks like your contradicting yourself. I mean you say it pisses you off when people judge others but doesn't your first statement do just that. My question to you would be as a one man crew or solo operator about 50% of the time why is it wrong for me to have all the trimmers and blowers along with all the other equipment I carry.

Not judging just trying to understand why. A 2 man crew needs 4 trimmers , 4 edgers , 4 blowers.
If you need that many back ups then switch brands.
I carry 2 trimmers 1 edger 1 blower. 2 mowers.

2 person crew

My closed neighbor is 10 minutes away.

Twice this year I wish I had 3 mowers with me.
Thanks to toro and the junk Kawasaki engines they use.
Not sure what I will go with next year but will not be toro.

I have a Toro z master with a Kawasaki and it runs just fine the only thing I have ever done to it is the crankcase gasket and the deck clutch, The mower itself is 14 years old and runs great like it was new. always starts right up and has no problems whatsoever with it.

Z master professional 6000 72 inch deck
On its second engine. Don't like the deck.
Timecutter ss5000 50 inch deck
On its 3rd engine Many many drive belts.

I have a few older ones and love them.
The new ones are junk.

Dang. I could see the timecutter going out. But I'm surprised that the 6000 is already on its 2nd motor.
