Hello I lucked into a lawn boy just sitting on this side of the road, I was driving threw a nice neighbor hood when I saw it a big FREE sign. So my first lawn boy was free Lucky right... well its a 89 Its only 19 years too young
My uncle tells me its the 60's or 70's I want the most so my first question on this site will be what is the year that the COOLEST lawn boy was made?
my second question will have to do with this funny air controlled thing that makes my carb not so fun to work on? and the only reason it isn't working right could be that I removed all that green plastic so I can look at this two stroke while its running. Well I hope you guys can help me.

I have new to me a lawnboy 5021 bricktop with a D432 engine. I want to completely restore this mower. It runs strong just needs paint. What is the proper fuel ratio and what oil is the best?

Welcome, John, you've got a real good-looking collection of Lawn Boys there. I've been using the Gold Series model, second from the right, for 23 years and I can only wish it still looked show-room new like yours.

Thank you very much. I wish it looked that nice when I got it, or any of them to tell you truth. I don't know how people can tear up such a awesome and unique lawnmowr. They all get a good cleaning and mechanical going through then paint work on the golds.

I have a Lawn Boy Z310 as well as other mowers. It's the only zero turn I own and has been an absolutely wonderful mower.
I broke the axle and am having it replaced. Can't bear to get rid of it, just too dependable and small enough to fit in most smaller gates.
I know it is a residential mower, but this thing has been used and abused for 2 and a half 6 month mowing seasons without issue.
It's worth fixing IMHO.

Not many people own the Lawnboy ZTR's...so we would love to see pictures!

I am the usually happy owner/user of a model 10547 DuraForce Gold Series mower.

I am not a collector, so this one is not "picturable."

I will be posting a question or two, so be on the watch for them? Hope you can all help...

God Bless
Doug

:welcome:

There is lots of information about your DuraForce engine in this forum. Some members have made modifications resulting in considerably improved performance. It's worth a read.

And go ahead a post a photo... it doesn't have to look mint. I'm a collector and none of mine look like that.
