Have a YT 3000. Has a foot pedal on the right hand side for forward / reverse.
Pushed forward and it went entirely loose and can be moved forward or reverse without any resistance - mower is on / running but will not engage forward or reverse.
Followed underneath the mower the (Lawn Tractor Pedal Control Rod #163) back through the middle of the mower under the gas tank between the drive belt and it appears to be un-attached at that point (guessing it should be attached into the (transmission / transmission link where it would engage the transmission to move the mower forward or back).
Checking if I just need to take the seat / fender deck off, remove the gas tank to get access to the point where it connects and any thoughts / pictures of what I need to reconnect it (it has a hole in the end of it, guessing there is a retainer pin / connector pin that just sheared after 8 years of use).
