YT 16 tranny problems

I am about to buy a Ford YT 16 lawn tractor for $100. The current owner says it has a hydrostatic Transmission that is starting to have trouble going up hill. What does this sound like?

Could be anything from a worn/loose belt, to low fluid level to getting ready to belly up.
