A local Gravely dealer has an 8 year old, unused Gravely 36 inch walk-behind mower. It has never had fuel in it, and has never been run.
He is asking $2600 for the unit, which includes a bagger. He said Gravely will honor the 3 year warranty from date he sells it.
I'm thinking of offering $1500 and seeing if he comes back with a counteroffer. Are there any issues with buying an 8 year old piece of machinery that has never been run?? Is this a fair price to start negotiations at??
